Nadia Novi, a senior was chosen as the varsity cheer play of the week by the varsity coach Cherese Fifield.
“She is very supportive of all her teammates, she is reliable, dependable, coachable, funny and she is always willing to try new things and go for whatever we ask,” Fifield said.
Novi is an inspiration to her team and demonstrates a coachable player.
The biggest inspiration that keeps Novi going during her varsity season is her team.
“I like how even if we are struggling with a stunt we always come together and pull it off at the end,” Novi said.
As this is Novi’s first season, she decided to give it a try because she thought it would be a new way to learn new things.
“I have wanted to try it for a long time I just didn’t have time because I do dance outside of the school,” said Novi. “I thought it would be a great way to learn new things and meet new people,” Novi said.
Novi is continuing her season with a positive attitude and the support of her teammates.
