This month Lowry High School’s students of the month were freshman Madeline Mitch, sophomore Robyn Shafer, junior Savannah McDade, and senior Ashley Dennis. These students were nominated by their teachers for showing high qualities in leadership, setting a positive example, having a good attitude, and achieving excellent grades.

Madeline Mitch was nominated by Mrs. Grady. Mrs. Grady says “Maddie is an outstanding Spanish I student. She works very hard in class, helps others when needed, and never complains.”

Mrs. Scott nominated Robyn Shafer. Mrs. Scott says “Robyn has been very willing to help out other students and causes. She checks in just to see if there is something that needs to be taken care of. Rain or shine I’ve been able to count on Robyn (literally, I wouldn’t have been dedicated enough to take pictures in the rain).

Savannah McDade was nominated by Mr. Espinola. Mr. Espinola nominated Savannah for the first edition of The Brand, Savannah was given several difficult assignments and also covered additional stories for other members of the staff. All of her stories were done well and she did it all without complaint.

Mrs. Killion nominated Ashley Dennis. She wrote that Ashley has always been a tremendous help with setting up and maintaining classroom supplies. She has also been very willing to help others on projects.

We would like to congratulate these students for being good students, role models, and helpers.
