One last hit for the varsity volleyball season

One last hit for the varsity volleyball season

The Lady Bucks played hard through the summer and fall months. They gave it their all and pushed through their hardships throughout the season. In the end, they ended up with a 4-14 record.

Their coach, Skylar Estes, is pleased with coaching these girls throughout the season, and how they talk to each other throughout the game.

“This team has been one of my favorites to coach,” said Estes. “Even with the season not going as well as we would have liked with wins and losses; the team still was positive and showed up to work hard every single day.”

Estes is glad about how the season went and the improvement of the whole team throughout the season.

“There was a huge improvement this year in how the team played,” said Estes. “Our serve receive improved all season long with being effective on offense.”

The players also believe they have made a lot of improvements themselves.

“I think the team could have worked more on coverage and communication,” said Karyn Morton a middle blocker. ”We overall got better but I think that’s something we could have improved on.”

The varsity team also wants younger people to join their beloved game as well. They are also not afraid to advise younger people as well.
