Lowry High School’s cheer program always puts on an amazing show. Their acrobatics and stunts always get the crowd on their feet and bring extra energy to every sporting event. The Lowry cheer coach Cherese Fifield chose Laura Hescock as this week’s Performer of the Week.
“Performer of the week will have to go to the youngest member of the varsity squad sophomore, Laura Hescock. She is always where she needs to be and is willing to do whatever is asked of her,” said Coach Fifield.
Although Hescock is the only sophomore on the team coach Fifield also added that she has always earned her position.
“She has worked very hard and earned her position time and time again,” added Fifield .
You can catch the cheer team in action at Lowry’s next home basketball game against Elko on Tuesday, February 7.
