Saints come from behind to remain undefeated

The New Orleans Saints are still undefeated…barely

The game was played in Miami and at the end of the second quarter, the Dolphins were up 24-10.

At the beginning of the third quarter the Saints’ Darren Sharper intercepted the Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne for a touchdown. That score cut to lead to 24-17.

The Dolphins Dan Carpenter kicked a 33-yard field goal to take the score to 27-17.

On the next Saints’ drive, Drew Brees threw a 10-yard pass to Marques Colston which made the score 27-24.

With three seconds left in the third quarter the Dolphins Ricky Williams score a 4-yard run giving Miami a 10 point lead, 34-24.

At the start of the fourth quarter Reggie Bush score a 10-yard touchdown run to take the score to 34-31. Later in that quarter Drew Brees rushed for a 2-yard touchdown to take the lead 37-34. The Saints added a field goal to double their lead 40-34. With two minutes left Tracy Porter intercepted a Chad Henne pass and returned it for a touchdown to seal the win for the Saints.

The final score was Saints 46 Dolphins 34.

The Saints are now 6-0 and the Dolphins are 2-4.
