Senior skit night: A senior salute

By Nic Velasquez Posted May 17, 2012

The 4th annual edition of senior skit night took place on Tuesday, May 8 and Wednesday May 9 at 7 p.m.

Eleven seniors performed a plethora of skits that they wrote themselves ranging from comedic skits to their own written songs.

Most skits being spoofs or reinterpretations of actual skits from TV shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” made it have a very familiar taste to most of the audience.

Examples of skits included Johnny Hernandez’s “Hamlet” which was a comedic attempt at trying to rehearse the lines of the actual “Hamlet” while getting constantly distracted. Musical skits ranged from Cole Millholland’s song “Lights” to Katie Boyle singing a solo of “Hallelujah”.

“It was a lot of fun.” A.J. Jackson said, “This senior class did it right, and I thought it was very funny.”
