Freshman Delanie Thompson was chosen as Student Athlete of the Week by coach Shannon McClellan for the JV girls softball team.
McClellan was proud of Delanie Thompson’s performance in their recent game.
“All weekend long, she came up as a great leader with always cheering people on and keeping the morale up in the dugout,” said McClellan. “She also hit an in-the-park grand slam and was able to make plays wherever we put her, both in the infield and in the outfield.”
