Macy Munroe was selected by coach Morgen Thacker as this week’s freshman girl’s basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance in the past week.
“I choose her because of her attitude, effort, and improvement she has shown this season. She is also a great leader to have on the team she always sets a good example. She is very coachable and it helps make a coach’s job a lot easier when you have a player like that,” said coach Thacker.
Munroe explained how she felt to be selected.
“I was glad I was chosen as Student-Athlete of the Week and I’m glad to be part of such a great team,” she said.
“I think our seasons going well and our team works well together and gets along,” Munroe said about the team and the season.
Munroe and the freshmen girl’s team play again against Fallon at home on Saturday, January 23.
