Three game weekend against Dayton for baseball

Lowry opened up league play against Dayton splitting the series 2-1.

The team defeated Dayton 7-4 on Friday, March 20. The winning pitcher for the game was Jamie Walton.

Offensively, Jace Billingsley was 2-4, Anders Pace was also 2-4 with 4 RBI and Bryan Noble was 2-3.

Saturday, March 21, the team won again against the Dust Devils 13-12. The winning pitcher was Gus Ramasco, and Walton picked up the save.

Offensively Dusty Kraft was 2-3, Ramasco was 2-3, and Noble was 1-2 with 2 RBI.

“The first two games we played well with good intensity. But in the third game we were too relaxed and made too many mistakes,” said coach Ron Espinola.

In the second game played on Saturday, the team lost to Dayton 6-7, Billingsley got the loss on the mound.
