The Bucks took the road this past weekend and traveled to Reno to compete in a non-league tournament. Although they struggled to find a win, good things still happened on the court.
“We played well. We were just rushing things on offense. It was a good learning experience, especially for the juniors. I am excited to see what the season brings. We are in the battle for the top team in the North,” said junior guard Brady Lange.
The boys played River City, McQueen, and Galena and fell just short of a win against all three competitors. The matchup against McQueen ended with a four-point deficit, despite the fact that Nathan Lutzow had double-doubles. In the games against River City and Galena, they struggled more as they fell 59-47 and 64-46.
The team will look for a win at home against Churchill County High School on Tuesday, December 8 at 7 p.m.
