What are we going to do about North Korea?

It seems like the Obama administration is going to ignore the recent threat of a nuclear bomb testing because North Korea threatens the U.S. so often. We’re being cautious, however, in that we’ve been monitoring the progress of the nuclear bomb for the past week through satellite surveillance. Rumor is that the bomb was supposed to hit us Friday May 12.

We can’t exactly know for sure if Kim Jong Un is going to act on this, which is pretty scary. This situation of North Korea threatening the U.S. with nuclear testing of sorts has occurred before, but that was under a different leader, Kim Jong Il. South Korean officials are convinced that nuclear testing isn’t actually going to happen.

There is not much more we can do about North Korea’s threats. All we can do is be ready, but also play it off like it won’t happen. Maybe they’re just trying to scare us? Maybe they want us to fear them so they can try to take over our country or something.

I think we should consider threatening them back. They don’t know what’s going on over here; we have tons of nuclear bombs we need to test out somewhere. I’d like to see how Mr. Un enjoys contemplating potential destruction of his country. Then again, that could just make them feel like they need to attack us first so we don’t attack them which would be completely counter-productive.

I’m obviously as confused as Mr. Un on the subject, but this is an important issue that people should be aware of.
