Mr. David Munk tries to motivate his students and tries to make good music with them.

“He puts in a lot of extra time to study his music,” said Munk.

Besides his hard work, Munk also sees talent in Yovany Balderas.

“He is a good influence and a positive contributor to the organization,” said Munk.

Yovany Balderas has excelled in playing a lot of different instruments. He plays the saxophone and clarinet, but his favorite one is the flute.

Everyone in the band and choir, and just the feeling of everyone getting together and making songs inspires him.

“Even when it’s just one other person playing with me, it will always be better because people can do great stuff alone,” said Balderas. “When you come together it’s just really nice and you get a feeling like no other.”

Balderas thinks there is always something to improve and new to learn. That’s why he always puts in a lot of effort and works really hard every day to get better. He prefers to play with the band rather than alone.

He wants to put in more effort and improve his technique and skills, that’s why he is always working on himself to achieve that.

”I want to go to college to be a music education teacher,” said Balderas.
