From the Middle Ages to Government, students learn all about history from different time periods. Mrs. Laura Mercado is one of Lowry’s history teachers and she nominated Stephanie Contreras for the student of the week. Contreras is part of the senior Economics class this year.
Contreras is a hard-working student who goes out of her way to help others and is conscientious and dedicated to her work,” said Mercado.
Mercado teaches many different grade levels starting with her sophomores, but her seniors take one semester of Economics and one semester of Government.
