Ms. Julia Topholm nominated Angel Acevedo as Student of the week. Acevedo is a hardworking and dedicated student.
“I have had Angel as a student and from the first day he has been willing to jump in and participate in class discussion,” said Topholm.
Acevedo is taking Sculpture 1 and chose to take this class because it was something new and unique to him. His favorite part about the class is that he is able to express himself through his sculpture pieces.
“I’m most excited to learn about different forms of sculpture and how to use different mediums,” said Acevedo.
He is motivated to learn more about sculpture and the ways he is able to express himself through his art. Something that makes this class easier is that he enjoys being taught by Topholm. This was a new experience for him as this is the first time he has ever taken a class like this but does not regret it because of how much he has learned.
