The art programs at Lowry provide students with a creative outlet and a welcoming environment where they can socialize and grow their artistic abilities. Ms. Julia Topholm named sophomore Audrey Quinn Artist of the Issue.

“Audrey is a student artist with natural ability and the willingness to challenge herself artistically,” said Topholm.

Quinn is an ambitious artist who strives to improve herself and her art daily.

“She is a student who showcases true craftsmanship in all of her pieces because she is willing to put in time to make her pieces stand out,” said Topholm.

Quinn is dedicated to making her pieces creative, and she doesn’t do things halfway. She pushes herself every day to better her art.

“I love making art and showcasing my creativity and passion for it in my art pieces,” said Quinn. “I also enjoy the time I have to do art with my friends in my art classes and club. It provides many fond memories.”

Quinn has gained friends and memories through her years in the art programs at Lowry.

“I’ve been a part of Lowry art classes for two years, including Art 1 and 2,” said Quinn. “I’m also in the art club. I believe I have improved on my art greatly by taking these classes.”

Quinn has grown in her artistic abilities with the help of the art classes, and she is appreciative. The art program has helped her in other aspects of her life as well.

“Some things I enjoy are dancing, reading, and hanging out with friends and family,” said Quinn. “Some things I excel in are helping others and school.”

Audrey Quinn is a dedicated artist who puts her all into her pieces. Her improvement in technique and creativity shows her worth as an artist and earns her the title of Artist of the Issue.
