Enrique Rosas announced as Student of the Week for art

Enrique Rosas is a freshman who decided to take Art 1 in his first year of high school. When he first enrolled in this class he did not expect anything crazy from it as he has never had any experience with drawing previous to this. As the semesters progressed he noticed quite a difference in his artistic ability.

This led to Rosas’s hard work paying off as he would be nominated as Student of the Week.

“Enrique has shown much improvement in Art 1 throughout the current quarter,” said Ms. Cassandra Jenkins.

Rosas’s artistic skills may be more advanced than he may think.

“Although he may think he is not an artist, his realistic pencil sketch tells a different story,” said Jenkins.

The more Rosas proceeded with this elective, the more he began to enjoy the class. He also seems to favor specific styles that Jenkins has taught him.

“I definitely enjoy when we are able to work with drawing and painting,” said Rosas.
