Fake News: Rumored Lowry Sasquatch proven to be hoax

School administrators have been getting reports of a bigfoot-like creature stalking the school grounds of Lowry High School. Students who have witnessed this monster have been demanding immediate action to drive the sasquatch away from the campus for the safety of the students and faculty.

One such report of the bigfoot comes from student Nick Roman.

“I was walking down yonder from the science building, and I was coming down the stairs, and I looked down at that greenhouse and I swear I saw something moving there. I don’t know what it was, but it was big, it was brown, and it was going ravaging down those plants. I was scared. I didn’t know what to do. I ran down into that greenhouse, and when I did it split out the other door [sic],”

Roman has big concerns about his safety, “I’m scared, there’s a bigfoot on the loose,” he said.

Vice Principal Tim Connors has confirmed that there is a creature walking around and added that he befriended the beast.

“He’s a good friend of mine and uh, I seen him out there a couple of times, and I’ve also seen him running around the school. When I’m jogging, sometimes up in the New Gym, we jog together,” said Connors.

However, it appears that these testimonies don’t point to the sasquatch. With new evidence, The Brand can now confirm that it is not Bigfoot whom these people are witnessing.

Trey Marriott was having his senior pictures taken at various locations around the school. After taking his picture at the boxcar by the baseball diamond, the photographer noticed something odd about the photograph. The photographer noticed a hairy being that was inside the boxcar. The photographer confronted the hairy beast and realized that it was just a homeless man living in the boxcar, who sometimes rummages through the greenhouse and the dumpsters for food.

To confirm that this was the man people were witnessing, we went back to Nick Roman and revealed the picture for confirmation.

“Yes sir, that’s him. I’ll never forget the crazy look in his eye,” said Roman.

The homeless man continues to live in the boxcar as an unofficial resident. You can leave food, money, or any other items that may be of assistance at the boxcar entrance. Check the December issue for an in-depth interview with the homeless man in the boxcar.
