Fallon Fowler is Student-Athlete of the Week for JV Softball, chosen by Coach Tawnya Root for her work effort and skills.
“She works hard daily, never misses a practice (including early morning conditioning), and is an amazing team player and leader,” said Root.
Root is impressed by Fowler’s capability to play.
“She always wants to do more reps and it shows in her gameplay,” said Root. “She catches for us and does an awesome job behind the plate and is hitting the ball extremely well. Fallon is an all-around great girl and is a great asset to the Lowry Softball program.”
Fowler feels optimistic about the current season and enjoys the process of the games.
“My favorite part of softball is the game itself,” said Fowler. “15-0 game can be won 20-16. The most unlike team can have the biggest comeback.”
Fowler works daily to strike inspiration for her fellow teammates.
“My goal is to become a great player,” said Fowler. “As to why, because I want to inspire my team.”
