Everybody in this world has certain pet peeves that just make them go crazy, and I have quite a lot of those. These are just certain things that make my skin crawl.
The first thing that grinds my gears is people that chew with their mouths open. I don’t want to hear or see your food while you’re eating. It’s not that hard to keep your mouth closed while you’re chewing. This is especially true for gum, if we are in class, I should not be able to hear you chomp on your gum like you’re a cow. Keep it closed, and keep it classy.
Do you know what really grinds my gears? The people that post every little detail about their life on social media, and then they go and complain about the NSA spying on them. Nobody is spying on you; you’re just letting everyone know about your life.
Conspiracy theories drive me absolutely crazy. Our government does do some weird stuff, but they don’t kill people. You can find anything on the internet, but that doesn’t mean it’s true. It just means that you’re gullible.
To everyone that claims they know everything, you don’t. Spare me.
To everybody that claims that they have “haters”, people just don’t like you, you don’t have haters. Get over yourself.
Guys; it’s lose, not loose. You’re not your; learn your grammar.
Also, since this issue is close to Valentines Day, to all you couples out there, stop eating each other’s faces in the hallways. It’s disgusting, and nobody wants to see it. You can be a happy couple, but don’t stand in the hallways displaying your affection towards one another for everyone to see.
Another topic that closely relates to Valentines Day, is if you and your girlfriend/boyfriend break up, don’t go on a social media site and make a fool of yourself. You’re just embarrassing yourself and making yourself sound stupid. It’s not the end of the world if you guys break up, don’t overreact. One door closes and another one opens.
Pet Peeves are a part of human nature, we all have them, but a solid philosophy is to just treat people with respect. We are all humans trying to make a name for ourselves, work together. Teamwork makes the dream work.
