The weights class at Lowry is an opportunity for students to grow their muscle and their abilities. Mr. Taua Cabatbat encourages his students to be the best they can be and sees Jesse Eisenbarth excelling in that.
“He’s just been improving in his weight training, and he’s been pushing himself to be better,” said Cabatbat.
Cabatbat believes that Eisenbarth is a hard-working kid who doesn’t give up when the going gets tough.
“The best part about him is his work ethic,” said Cabatbat, “He comes in, works hard, and likes to see the gains from all his hard work.”
Cabatbat is hopeful that this student will continue working hard to gain muscle in his class, and so is Eisenbarth.
“I like how we can grow off of it and Cabatbat wants to help you,” said Eisenbarth.
Cabatbat helps Eisenbarth in many ways, helping him build muscle and confidence as the year progresses.
“My best friend, Saul Castillo, is my favorite person to work out with, just because he pushes me past my limit and encourages me to keep pushing even when it’s not so easy,” said Eisenbarth.
Eisenbarth has many people surrounding him to encourage him to keep pushing and work through his issues. He constantly shows up to class with a good attitude and a hard-working mindset, which earned him the title of Weights Student of the Week.
