Lowry girls soccer blanks Pershing County

It was an intense, high-scoring game for Lowry against Pershing County High School (PCHS).

Sydnie Sundahl made a through pass in the first half to Kendal Madden to score the second point of the game. Sundahl passed another through ball into the middle of the goal box and Madden came up and scored the goal.

With a lead of 3-0 going into the first half, the soccer team finished it off with a 7-0 victory.

Sundahl commented on the game as,” a lot of good throughs [passes] and my team trusted me.”

Sundahl led in scoring with four goals in the game, and Anna Davis, Madden, and Kristine Ingle each with a goal bringing the score to seven.

According to their coach, Sapien, “the team could have played better but I am sure that I will have a better team by their next game.” Sapien continued, “The forwards could use a little more practice, but they are freshman and haven’t acquired the skill yet. They will have the skill by the end of the season.”

Ashlee Jenkins shared some of the same views as her coach.

“We could have done better but there were good throughs throughout the game,” said Jenkins.
