Lowry High has hired Mr. Rawley Jackson as both a teacher and a coach. He will be teaching 9th-grade math and coaching freshman defense this year for the football team
Jackson is coming to Winnemucca from Waco, Texas where he taught middle school math and coached football, track, and soccer.
“LHS was desirable to me because I enjoyed living and teaching in Winnemucca the spring of 2021 after graduating from Boise State University,” said Jackson.
Jackson hopes to impact students inside and outside of the classroom and enjoys small-town life.
“Teaching and coaching are my passion because I want to help students inside and outside the classroom,” said Jackson. “Having a positive impact on the community is another area of interest to me and Winnemucca has a small-town feel that I enjoy.”
