The November board for the students of the month displayed an elaborate and colorful theme. The falling leaves of the board caught the eye of the students as they walked by. More important than the presentation was the information posted on it.

This month the recipients were Rebekah Dorris, Tiffany Newman, Jose Castaneda, and Kelsey Lambert.

Rebekah, a freshman at Lowry, was nominated by Mrs. Millikan. Mrs. Millikan emphasized that Rebekah shows a lot of potential.

“She keeps her grade in excellent stand and has taken on the role of Key Club secretary,” Millikan said.

Tiffany Newman, a current sophomore, was nominated by Mrs. James who was in awe to see how mature Tiffany acts. Mrs. James describes her as a “treasure of gold” to have in class.

Mrs. Marshall nominated Jose Castaneda, a junior at Lowry, because of his dedication, honesty, and ability to endeavor. She said that she respects when an individual strives to reach his goal and Jose is an example of this.

Kelsey Lambert is a senior this year and she was nominated by Mrs. Pasquale. She was described as having excellent dissecting skills in Zoology, great attention to detail, and as an example to all others in the class. Mrs. Pasquale said that she is a truly helpful student in group work.

All four of these students couldn’t be more deserving. Not only do their teachers enjoy them in class but Lowry is honored to have them as alumni.
