Trase Bell is the LHS Freshman student of the month.  He was nominated by Mrs. Vicky Meissner, who says, “Trase is a pleasure to work with. He seems eager to learn and help others learn. He never uses excuses, but shows up prepared to work, quietly gets his assignments done, participates in class activities, and turns in top quality papers.”

Francisco Gonzalez is the Sophomore student of the month. Francisco was nominated by Mrs. Leanne Peters. Mrs. Peters says that Francisco is a hardworking individual who has come leaps and bounds from last year. He is always positive and is eager to learn and try new things. He is always finding ways to help the other students in her class. His smile is a joy to see when he accomplishes any task.

Maeve Donovan is the Junior student of the month.  She was nominated by Mrs. Corrine James, who says, “Maeve is absolutely amazing. Smart, brilliant, creative, even magical. She makes life so much better just by being present. Drama would be an empty shell without her. She does everything from sweeping floors to adding magical music.”

Tim Burroughs is the Senior student of the month, nominated by Mrs. Joyce Mendiola and Mrs. Jodi Neary. Mrs.Mendiola and Mrs. Neary said, “Tim has 1st, 6th, and 7th periods off and comes in several times a week to offer help to the offices. Since we don’t have office aids, Tim’s help is so much appreciated. He lifts heavy orders, stocks paper and supplies and always does so with a smile! When he finishes the job, he always asks who he can help next. He is a pleasure to have in the offices.”

Congratulations to all of these hardworking students!
