Reno Bighorns look to run over Idaho Stampede

The Reno Big Horns will make their way down from Reno and have a game in Winnemucca.

This is a great event that Lowry will be hosting. The Reno Bighorns will be playing the Idaho Stampede on November 19 at 7 p.m.

You can expect there to be some big jams, good shooting, and a high-scoring game. It isn’t an NBA game or anything but Winnemucca hasn’t had anything like this in their town so it’s great to be a part of it.

Chad Peters said, “Our basketball team is a big deal in Winnemucca and we wanted to bring an NBA style to the rural areas. We’re bringing the game to the people.”

Allison Beck, a former graduate of Lowry is a big part of why Lowry is having the event here and is now the Reno Bighorns Media and Community Relations Manager.

An NBA D-League game isn’t as big as an NBA game but it is one step below and still, a fun league to watch. If a D-League is playing close by and at your convenience, you’re not going to turn it away so get tickets now.

Peters will be selling the tickets out of his office at Spare Time Bowl and there will be approximately 800 tickets sold. If you want a ticket you better hurry as they should go fast. Also, Joyce Mendiola in the Lowry office will have tickets.
