The unwritten rules of Lowry can come to people quite easily. Whether it is from teasing Freshmen to parking and sports, these are never spoken directly as rules.
Tesa Urrutia believes that an unwritten rule is to tease the freshman as a joke in good fun.
“It’s just something for fun because people can get a kick out of it,” said Urrutia.
Luke Fentress also believes that an unwritten rule is to always wear blue and gold on Fridays.
“You have to represent our school on Fridays, wearing blue and gold is the best way to do that,” said Fentress.
Dempsey Jenkins believes that if you park somewhere on the first day of school, that is your parking spot for the rest of the year.
“Most people like to get to school early on the first day to make sure they get a good spot, if you don’t, you’re stuck in that bad spot the rest of the year because you don’t want to take anyone’s spot,” said Jenkins.
Quade Altman, who is a homeschooled athlete, believes that an unwritten rule is to always try to be early for practice and travel.
“I always try my best to be early for practice and bus rides because if you’re a part of any Lowry sport, you should be giving your all,” said Altman.
