What to Watch: ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’

By Taylor LaTray Posted May 5, 2014

Well-known filmmaker Martin Scorsese produced another hit in the world of production, leaving his viewers craving to take part in the drama. Scorsese used Leonardo DiCaprio to portray a story based upon relationships, power, money, and drugs. The hunger for power and the use of Wall Street, the cruelest business area when it comes to money, becomes DiCaprio’s way to success.

Starting from nearly nothing, Jordan Belfort (DiCaprio), finds a way through the system and recruits those in need to use the ultimate persuasive skills to reel in more buyers. With each day comes more money, and a higher usage of drugs. Although the film seems to be based around four destructive obsessions, there is a lesson learned with Belfort’s downfall in the ending.

You can purchase this genius production at your local grocery store, or rent it at any nearby Redbox to get a sneak peek into the lives of the greedy and famous.
