Winnemucca gets artsy

On March 12, Andrew Anderson, Courtney Rorex, and Irene Kotke hosted the annual Winnemucca Art show. The art show was a huge hit as there were multiple beautiful masterpieces.

Andrew Anderson said, “The opening show had over 500 people in a two-hour period so that‘s pretty good.”

Many people came out to admire the art, as there were artists from all over Humboldt County. People of all ages flocked in to see the beautiful art provided by the students of Humboldt County.

Mr. Anderson said, “I‘m very pleased with the art this year, in fact, we are able to show a lot more art this year due to the change in location. If anything, I‘m happy that we aren‘t in the art gallery downtown anymore and that we upgraded to a larger space.”

The art can be viewed from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the museum.
