Art teachers Ms. Julia Topholm and Ms. Cassandra Jenkins have invited students that would like to join the club to sign up.
Topholm, the Head Art Club advisor, said, “With our second semester coming up we wanted to reach out to the student body and see if any other students would be interested in joining up for the spring semester.”
The club will meet two times a month, every other Thursday, and will be moving to a virtual format because of coronavirus restrictions.
“With the COVID Guidelines we will be doing several spring activities virtually and we will have some open studio time on one digital Fridays that members will be able to sign up for and participate in art projects, meet with guest artists, and will also help plan for our two annual art shows,” said Topholm.
Anyone who is interested in an art club can join and does not need to be an artist or have an art class, but you must join as fast as possible.
“If you enjoy art, you are creative, or just want to be part of a great group, you are welcome to join,” said Topholm. “The deadline to sign up is January 20 so club shirts can be ordered.”
Go to room 600 and sign up if you are interested in being in this great group.
