Many little girls (and boys) dream of becoming cheerleaders. Their dreams became a reality for a while in the annual Lowry Kids Cheer Camp.

Cheerleader Chelsea Baker only has positive things to say about it.

“It went really well,” said Baker, “All the girls were fast learners and were excited about the performance. They asked a lot of questions, and were hyper, which was good because it helps,”

Fellow cheerleader Taylor Jimenez also has good thoughts on the subject.

“We taught the little ones a dance routine and the older girls stunts,” said Jimenez, “they were really good. They are really excited about their performance. It’s harder than it looks, so I’ve really got to hand it to them.”

The kids’ performance was on Friday, October 19, 2012.
