Well, it’s that time of the year again and students are heading back to school.
We have been beginning our year with a few fun activities to break the summer ice.
We offered Buck pins to students showing their Buckaroo spirit. Also, a lunchtime activity was held to awaken the annual class competition for Lowry’s “Class of the Year” award. And the sophomore class of 2010 defended its title at this first contest. Followed by this activity were Thursday’s free bounce house, watermelon and cookies offered to all of Lowry’s excited student body by Lowry Leadership.
There was also music to listen to as we enjoyed our back to school celebration. But what excellent school year doesn’t start with a good back to school assembly to get us headed in the right direction!
Lowry’s new principal was there to greet the enthusiastic student body and introduce us to this year’s faculty and staff. So we are looking forward to a great year here at Lowry High School.
