With several changes happening in the school and positions needing to be filled, Megan Maga has stepped up to the challenge and will be the new Varsity Softball coach and the Computer Education, Office, and Graphic Design teacher here at Lowry next year.

“I have been an assistant coach for the Bucks for the last three years,” said Maga. “This will be my first head coach position, I also played four years of college softball at Carroll College in Montana while obtaining my bachelor’s degree.”

With her achievements and dedication, Maga became a prime candidate for the Lowry staff.

“I chose to coach at Lowry because I’ve been a part of the program and I believe this program is destined for greatness,” said Maga.

With so many new roles that Maga already has a background in, Lowry is proud to welcome Maga to be the new computer teacher among other CTE classes and an experienced softball coach.

“I want to share my knowledge and love for the game with the next generation of student-athletes,” said Maga. “I also love that softball teaches how to overcome adversity, work ethic, and dedication that can help student-athletes in the real world after they finish their softball careers.”
