The Lowry High Academic Challenge team has taken a great lead into the season, running with a 7-1 record. Here are the results from the first two matches:
Week 1
Lowry 275 – White Pine 55
Lowry 170 – Battle Mountain 110
Lowry 190 – Spring Creek JV 165
Lowry 190 – West Wendover 140
Week 2
Lowry 130 – Spring Creek 200
Lowry 285 – White Pine 25
Lowry 235 – Battle Mountain 85
Lowry 280 – Spring Creek JV 135
The students that have helped this team are: Tim Palmer (Captain), Lainey Barta, Giovan Cholico, Mary Granath, Jackson Gratwohl, Chris Pike, and Taylor Gruey.
“We only have one returning starter, Tim Palmer. Everybody else is new our newest member is Giovan Cholico. They are looking really good,” said coach Larry Storm.
The team will be competing in Spring Creek next Monday, and then Wendover the following week.
