Mr. Calvin Connors, a physical education teacher at Lowry High School, highlighted Alexandra Barocio as Student of the Week.
Barocio is currently a sophomore, who enjoys many sports such as basketball, volleyball, and other different activities.
“[Alexandra has] Shown outstanding qualities since the first day of school,” said Connors.
She always pushes to show her best and always puts 110 percent into everything she does. Her efforts do not go unnoticed.
“Alexandra is always the first in line to try a new drill and sets the tone for the other students in class,” explained Connors.
Barocio enjoys being able to talk to people and have fun. In class, they still get to play around and enjoy the overall atmosphere it creates.
Outside of school, she enjoys, “Being with family and friends or playing basketball and volleyball,” said Barocio.
She has also recently been able to drive.
“Driving is great because I don’t have to bother my parents and ask for rides,” explained Barocio.
A song currently she has on repeat is “Beautiful Crazy” by Luke Combs.
