Jordan is known to be a leader who maintains a positive attitude everywhere he goes. Bills is at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and demonstrates what it takes to be a student-athlete. His coach Jamie Walton was quite satisfied to select him.
“Jordan locks down the outfield and works each day to master his craft,” said Walton. “He is everything you’d want in an athlete and more.”
Jordan feels exhilarated to be awarded as he has worked hard to get where he is right now.
“Being chosen as athlete of the week for varsity baseball makes me feel accomplished,” said Bills.
Bills chose to start playing as he has a long history of baseball within his family. He also enjoys that this allows him to play games with his companions.
Although he will not continue playing this sport out of high school, Bills is proud to be able to look back at how much progress he made from his freshman year.
“It is just crazy to stop and reflect on how far you’ve come,” said Bills. “It’s one of the best feelings in the world.”
