In 1997 the cheerleaders started their season off with a USA spirit camp held in Las Vegas. Their JV squad only consisted of six girls. Their captain was Vanessa Pacheco. The varsity squad consisted of six seniors and two juniors. All of their squads cheered football, basketball, and wrestling.
The 2014-15 Varsity and JV cheer teams perform a stunt at this year’s Friday homecoming assembly. Varsity captains Chelsea Baker and Rachel Foster lead their team in cheers and stunts not only during halftime of football and basketball games but during the whole game as well. The cheerleaders also support Wrestling and other fall and winter sports.
