This week’s Performer of the Week for drama is Mickey Donovan. He has been selected by drama teacher, Mrs. Corrine James.

“He brings brilliance and energy to the stage. He keeps things positive, helps everyone all the time, and is simply amazing. He brings in good vibes and is always ready to perform. He is also a huge asset to the stage in the construction of props and sets,” Mrs. James explained.

While Donovan is the Performer of the Week, James also wanted to mention that all of the mermaids in the “Little Mermaid” are doing a great job. They are Devan LaTray, Camryn Maher, Aimee Brandon, Kenzie Johnson, Madison Riley, and Hannah Hillyer.

“It’s an absolute honor to be selected as Performer of the Week given such a diverse talented group of people I have the honor of acting with every day,” said Donovan about his gratitude for being chosen.

In the upcoming play, “The Little Mermaid”, Donovan plays the role of Booby the Gannet. He also stated that preparations for the play are going well and everything is ahead of schedule for the play set for the beginning of April.
