What to buy: Battlefront vs Fallout

Games are getting more advanced and more complicated. The games of 2015 are more complicated than most other games you have played. A new generation of games, stories, and much more have been released this year and two of the most popular games out are “Star Wars Battlefront” and “Fallout 4”.

Test your blasting skills with the new game “Star Wars Battlefront”. This game is a big first-person shooter featuring an online multiplayer mode based on “Star Wars”. You can choose to side with the Rebel Alliance or the Empire. Travel across the galaxy fighting other players, or test your skills in the game’s survival mode where you alone will have to defend against waves of enemies. This game makes you feel like you are in the movies and not many other games can do that. It shows you multiple views of the battles. For a recreation of a game, this one takes the gold star, it has much better graphics and a lot of thought was put into it. For all these great features there has to be one bad one, and that is the removal of space battles like they had in the original games and those were some of the most fun features. Even counting this one flaw, I would think this game would be a 9/10 just because of how classic it is and how much thought went into it.

“Fallout 4” was released on November 10 as one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. Bethesda Softworks started working on it right after “Fallout 3” in 2008. This game has had a lot of thought and feeling put into it to give the player the best experience possible in a big apocalypse. There is one thing we do know, kill whatever moves to ensure your survival. This game has a lot of new things added to it such as better weapons, more weapon enhancements, new monsters, modding functionality, and much better graphics. In addition to the various play modes it also gives you many hidden tricks and weapons.

Even after you beat this game there is so much more to explore and discover it seems never-ending.

In the end, “Star Wars Battlefront” and “Fallout 4” are completely different games and are almost incomparable. If a player enjoys massive multiplayer experiences and is looking for something within the realm of the Star Wars universe, “Star Wars Battlefront” is the only way to go. However, if a player wants a more in-depth game complemented by a captivating story as well as numerous additional features, “Fallout 4” takes the cake.

Both of these games are for $60 not including tax. If I had only $65 I would recommend getting “Star Wars Battlefront”. It is based on a classic game that many people have played on the original Xbox, PlayStation 1 and 2, as well as the PSP. This game may have one flaw, but the changes they made were well thought out.
