On November 28, 2010, Lowry’s cross country team competed in the NIAA’s 3A Northern Regional Championship. However, they returned with not as good results as in previous years. Though, Lowry did come home with five state qualifiers: Chase Estes, Joey Flanders, Jenae Neu, Jordan Raynor, and Brady Riley.

Chase Estes said, “I’m super proud, I feel really accomplished in this because every meet we got better and better. Then to pass all those people and be in the top fourteen in zone, and it was my first year.”

With a final time of 20:07, Chase Estes finished fourteenth, just below Joey Flanders with a time of 20:02. Sophomore Brady Riley finished nineteenth with a time of 20:15. In Girl’s Cross Country, Jordan Raynor finished with a final time of 23:27, followed by Jenae Neu finishing 18th with a time of 23:47.

These five cross country qualifiers will compete for an individual state title on Saturday, November 6.
