A father, along with his wife and son, accepts the job of off-season caretaker at an isolated hotel. The son is able to see things such as the ghosts in the hotel. Soon after moving in, and after a paralyzing winter storm that leaves the family snowbound, the father is influenced by demons. He descends into madness and attempts to kill his wife and son.

A young couple has just moved into their new home. Katie, the wife, claims that a ghostly presence has haunted her since her youth and believes that it has followed her to their new home. She hires a psychic who assesses that she is being haunted not by a ghost, but by a demon.

A police officer in Amity islands starts to find dead bodies along the beach, mangled by a shark. When a group of people tries to hunt down the shark they realize it’s a lot bigger.
