This week’s POW, chosen by art teacher Andrew Anderson, is J.R. Perkinson, a senior who is currently in Advanced Art and Ceramics.
Anderson chose Perkinson because “his work never fails to show his unique style and tastes, as well as his concern for quality craft and neatness.”
Anderson added, “J.R. is also very happy to share his ideas, insights, and observations with his peers, setting a good example of what it means to engage as an artist. “
Perkinson’s work is currently on display at the HCSD Student Art Show at the Humboldt Museum.
