On November 19, Lowry staff presented a parent night providing information on schedules, new classes, and additional information about future careers. Vice-principal Tim Connors thought the night went well.

“The Parents’ night held at Albert M. Lowry High School on November 19th, was very successful. Along with the LHS staff many members of the community joined together to help students and parents gain valuable information for our 21st century learners.”

Many businesses and local programs came out to provide information to interested students.

“The very supportive community, law enforcement agencies, Humboldt General Hospital, the Winnemucca Boys and Girls Club, Great Basin College, Humboldt Sun, Buckaroo Radio, and the 6th Judicial Court Staff were there to help provide an avenue for future careers,” said Connors. “Also, the amazing LHS Staff was on hand to answer any questions that parents had in regards to their students. We had a great turnout and would like to thank our wonderful community, LHS staff, parents, and most importantly our students for our continued growth and success at Albert M. Lowry High School.”
