Jessie Schirrick is the Performer of the Week for Drama. She was chosen by her drama teacher Mrs. Corrine James.
She is going to be performing Lady Macbeth in the October play “Macbeth”.
James admires her devotion to “Macbeth” and all the characters in the play and has this to say.
“Jessie is always YouTubing different productions of ‘Macbeth’ to get ideas for the interpretation of her character,” said James.
Also, Jessie’s co-star Chelsea Baker is very admired and amazed by Schirrick and also admires her acting abilities.
“Jessie as the lead role has to memorize 180 lines, and a little more than that, and I’m blown away by the fact she already has that memorized. But she has put character behind them already and she has gone above and beyond to go and find new variations of the character, and it’s just really awesome to see someone devote so much to her role,” said Baker.
