Shaelyn Forney earned Performer of the Week for her participation in Drama. She shared the lead female role, Elizabeth, with Camryn Maher and Devan LaTray in the play “Frankenstein”.
Drama director Corrine James was amazed by her performance in “Frankenstein”.
“She was an outstanding female lead character. What I love about Shaelyn Forney is she’s a hard worker, she doesn’t ever talk much, she’s very quiet, and yet when she comes on stage she just completely comes to life,” said James.
Forney has worked with Drama for three years of her high school career.
“She’s brought so much to the Drama program. In addition, she is extremely artistic and can help on the sets on Saturday workdays. She never faults in knowing her lines inside and out,” explained James.
