What to Watch: ‘Modern Family’

“Modern Family” depicts most things that families would go through with a comedic twist on top of it.

There are three different families starring in this show, all of which are related. The first family is the family of Jay, Gloria and their son Manny. The second family is the Dunphy family with Phil, Claire, and their children, Haley, Alex, and Luke. The third family is a gay couple Mitchell and Cameron, with their adopted baby girl Lily.

Everyone is part of the same family here. Jay is the father of Claire and Mitchell. It is a typical American family, with Jay not really liking his daughter’s husband, and does not even come close to liking his son being gay.

These families have their ups and downs, especially when Mitchell’s father, Jay doesn’t approve of his son’s sexual orientation. As for the Dunphy family, it is very difficult to raise a teenage daughter, let alone trying to keep their son out of trouble and solving their own problems at the same time.

“Modern Family” is by far a very good sit-down television show to watch with all of your family. It has comedy and some heart-warming parts in all of their episodes. It is bound to have you hooked onto it by the end of the first episode you watch.

This sitcom can keep you laughing until the end.
